The card, launched by TCN this year, can be redeemed at any restaurant that accepts eftpos Australia-wide – at absolutely no cost to the business. If the person you’re buying a gift card for might prefer a bit of a tipple instead of a meal, there’s also the Pub & Bar Gift Card – same deal, but redeemable at pubs and bars.
Anything that helps hospo get back on its feet, especially after what the industry has been through, and is still going through, in 2020, is okay in my books. And it’s easy to see how The Restaurant Gift Card is a good thing for all of the hospo operators out there.
